Effects Of DDoS Attack On A Non-Proxied Subdomain

If I have 30 DNS records on 30 different subdomains and they’re all proxied, Cloudflare’s DDoS protection will take place for those 30.

If I then have 1 DNS record on 1 subdomain that isn’t proxied, Cloudflare’s DDoS protection won’t take place for that 1. Does this mean that if someone were to DDoS my domain via that 1 subdomain, they could take down my entire domain? Would they be attacking that part only? Or would they be attacking the entire domain?

Domains aren’t attacked per se but rather whatever server the domain is pointing at.

If the exposed subdomain shares server with the rest of the records, it might affect the other services.
If its a different server, then it shouldn’t affect the rest of protected records.
