I have 3 domains and when I look at the edge certificates, 2 are written as “universal” and one is written as “universal (shared)”.
and that last one happens to be the one not working. What is the difference? and why both don’t show as shared and one does?

Archive This post contains info on Cloudflare Universal and Universal (shared) certificates, this covers certificates issued to sniXXXXXX.cloudflaressl.com and sni.cloudflaressl.com
There are two types of universal certificate in use at the moment. These are Universal and Universal (Shared), I will address the differences between the two and why you have the one you do.

so there shouldn’t be any reason why the one when I can’t establish a SSL connection is the only one that is written as ‘shared’, correct?
I have to investigate other things then.

Other than the domains on the cert, it should make no difference.
What is the domain you are having the issues with and what error do you get?
