Easy way to export custom firewall rules

Hi,

We are likely to be moving our customer sites to a new domain so I will need to setup a new zone in Cloudflare. To do this I was hoping for a simple way to export the rules & dns from one zone and then a similar way to import them into the new zone.

Any ideas?

You can export and import the DNS records:

As for the other settings, you will need to do this manually, unless you want to look into the API or Terraform. With Firewall rules, you can copy and paste the expression, rather than creating the rules from scratch with the rule builder.

Hi,

Yeah, I am currently making copies of the expressions for the firewall rules. I was going to have a look into the API’s when I have more time but was hoping someone might already have an easier way.
