DS Record Removal From Google

Like others on the community, I too also transferred a domain away from Google without first disabling DNSSEC and am now stuck with a non-loading website and flaky email. What’s going to be the best way to get that record removed?

Thanks!

  1. Contact your new domain registrar’s customer support and explain the situation. Specifically, let them know that you transferred your domain without disabling DNSSEC and need help in removing the DS record.
  2. They will need to contact the top-level domain registrar (like .com, .net, etc.) to request the removal of the DS record.
  3. After the DS record is removed, DNSSEC can be set up properly on your new domain registrar.
