I logged into my account last night to find that a dozen domains were missing. Some of these domains had billable services on them. The websites are still live, emails live, but they’re just missing from my account. I attempted to add some back but it’s not detecting the DNS records, it just comes up blank. a DNS check shows the domains are still on Cloudflare using the nameservers my account usually provides. I neeed these domains back.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I attempted to contact support with an urgent matter, and called the sales line and left a voicemail. No one’s getting back to me.
May I ask if all of those domains were registered by the Cloudflare Registrar or not?
Or you’r referring to the Websites list under, hopefully, your Cloudflare account?
Are you sure you were looking under the correct CF account?
Were you added as a member of a 3rd-party CF account?
Have you checked Audit Logs for your CF account for any clue?
Some domains you’ve shared aren’t using Cloudflare nameservers.
Some have strange Domain status, I’d suggest cross-checking about this with your domain registrar GoDaddy as well just in case.
Maybe you’ve added Website to your CF account, but haven’t changed the domain nameservers at domain registrar, or you’ve added NS type of DNS records at GoDaddy interface instead of changing the domain nameservers.
Therefrom, after Cloudflare detected no nameservers were added, it removed the Websites from your CF account within the 7 days.
all of the domains were registered by other registrars, I had the nameservers pointed to cloudflare to manage their DNS settings.
This is my cloudflare account. I only have one.
It ook your advice and looked at logs, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. Appearently “cloudflare” deleted them all. and this mu105377@
Neither of these users are on my account.
I am afraid not, manually and individually each of the Website including the settings and DNS records should be re-added if so, which if you’ve got them since before, you can import them or lookup the DNS history online.
I think the email might be a Liquidweb API access point. Diving in on these deleted dates, It looks like when I terminated my old hoisting account with them, they removed all these websites.
If I re-add them manually, it’s asking for new nameservers. For those accounts that had billing on them, will I have to re-add the service? or was the billing disabled when they were deleted?
I did a whois on this, and the nameserver’s pointing to Cloudflare. When I attempt to re-add the domain to cloudflare 0 DNS records come up for it. yet, the website’s still live…
