Domain Verification DKIM not working

trying to validate my Autotask ticketing system, below are the instructions. I have entered them into CF, but they are not working.

Validating your domain and creating an SPF record in your domain’s DNS will authorize Autotask to send these messages on your behalf. Domain Validation and an SPF record must be created for any domain that is sending mail from the Autotask system.

Domain Authentication - Huntress and Autotask

They are asking you to create an empty TXT record because the content doesn’t really matter, the name of the record is used to validate your domain. I would try to create a non-empty record and hope that they do not validate the content. If that doesn’t work, you can try to create the record using the API.
