Received email to change name server to Daphne and Kobe. Assigned name servers in Cloudflare are Etienne and Olga. Name servers updated to Daphne and Kobe (others deleted) per email did not work. Name servers ADDED to existing so all name servers listed (Etienne, Olga, Daphne and Kobe) worked temporarily. Deleted all others and added Etienne and olga, which did not work.

Did you create a new Cloudflare account? Because this email means that someone created a new Cloudflare account with your email address.

If you did not create a new account, I would recommend that you keep your old nameservers instead of changing them to those from the email.

Can you confirm that when you go to https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records , it says your assigned nameservers are etienne and olga?

I don’t believe we created a new Cloudflare account unless this was done inadvertently. How do we know? It does say our assigned name servers in Cloudflare are Etienne and Olga. This is what our name servers are currently set to and our website is still down.

If you did not create a new account, someone else did. It might be they were just hoping that you would change the nameservers, so they could take control of your domain.

You are using DNS-Only, so the record resolves directly to your server IP. Maybe check with your hosting platform that your domain is still associated with your hosting account.

Btw, did you receive any other emails from Cloudflare about a new account? Someone definitely added your domain to another account, but you would have received more than just the one email if it was by accident.

How can I identify my hosting account? I thought it was ICDSoft, but it is not.

I’m using Kajabi as my platform…is that considered the hosting site?

Yes. Check with Kajabi that your domain is still connected to your website.
