We migrated our domain to Cloudflare February last year from strato.de that was hosting this domain.
We equally have another domain hosted on Cloudflare. We can not receive emails and all our services are down because
the domain can not be resolved. Upon checking on whois the domain is in redemption period
with Registrar Cronon GmbH. We then contacted Strato, they informed us that Cloudflare did
not complete the migration of the domain as the Registrar:Cronon GmbH was the one Strato
was using for domain registration, because Cloudflare needed to be the Registrar and not
Cronon after the migration. It seems after one year Cronon initiated the domain redemption
process as on their side the domain was not extended. We thought Cloudflare was handling the
domain extension since we migrated the hosting of the domain to Cloudflare.
We are therefore soliciting for urgent support to recover the domain given that we can not
send nor receive emails and our systems are all down since the domain can not be resolved.

The domain refferenced is not on Cloudflare’s Registrar.
We thought Cloudflare was handling the
domain extension since we migrated the hosting of the domain to Cloudflare.
Cloudflare does not usually host websites unless you are using Cloudflare Pages.
Just because you migrated the domain to use Cloudflare WAF and proxy services does not mean we are handling domain extension unless it has been succesfully transferred to our Registrar.
You will need to reach out to your current Registrar for this domain to have it restored/ renewed.
