Domain shows Wix servers after cloudFlare DNS updated

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

Hello, Today, we added a registered domain to Cloudflare, which we had previously registered with Wix. This morning, the domain was pointing to Wix’s servers. We then changed the DNS servers to different ones (clouding.io). Once the website was functioning correctly, we proceeded to change the DNS servers to those indicated by Cloudflare. After the DNS servers were validated, a few minutes later, it started returning the same content that was being displayed by the Wix servers. This leads me to believe that the domain was registered on Cloudflare by Wix and is now resolving against the old servers. Could you please let us know how to resolve this? Thank you in advance.

Without the domain it’s hard to check, but if you added the domain to Cloudflare while it was still connected to Wix, likely you imported DNS records pointing to Wix.

Make sure the DNS records in Cloudflare are set correctly to point to the new host in your dashboard here…

Thanks for your message!

The domain is gruasyexcavacionesolivas.com.

I have rolled back to the old DNS servers.

I have just setup the cloudflare DNS servers again.

Can you show a screenshot of your Cloudflare DNS records if you think the site is going to Wix?

I’m seeing “too many redirects”. Check your SSL/TLS setting is set to “Full (strict)” in your dashboard here…

Here you are the screenshot:

Your site seems to be working now. Is it showing the correct content?

If you are still seeing your old site, try clearing your browser cache or using incognito/private mode. You may also need to wait for the DNS TTL to expire on your DNS resolver
