Domain retrieval for unknown account

What is the name of the domain?

not relevant

What is the issue you’re encountering

Our domain registrar seems to have accidentally (or not) moved our domain name to Cloudflare. In doing so they lost all the DNS settings so we now have no email, website, remote access etc. Their support are being totally useless so Ithough tI would try and gain acces to the account directly with Cloudflare

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Raised case with TalkTalk, raised case with Cloudflare, waited patiently, been less patient, stamped my feet, pulled out my hair

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

None required

It seems unlikely a domain registrar would change the nameservers for a domain arbitrarily. But assuming that is true what would Cloudflare do about it?

You will want to change your nameservers back to the servers you were using previously.

Was the domain registration actually moved to Cloudflare? Or just nameservers changed? If the former, could the domain have expired and someone purchased it anew?

Those questions are easily verified with a simple lookup of the domain. But you say knowing the domain is “not relevant”… so, yeah, good luck!

So the domain is with your registrar so simply change the nameservers there back to where they were before at your registrar.
