I’m using an Amex credit card as my payment method, and it did charge me a $0.01 so it seems to be working, but I’m still getting a “Something went wrong. Please try again.” error while trying to register a new domain for a personal website.
Are there any logs I could refer to for an rca? I’ve already checked the icann whois lookup to check if anyone is holding it, but that doesn’t seem to be the case either
from where are u trying to register a domain name and what is the domain name?
trying to register it from Cloudflare Dashboard itself, under the Registrar>Register domains tab, it’s a .com domain I’m trying to register
The billing and registrar folk should be in pretty soon. Can you open a ticket? support AT cloudflare DOT com
and then post the ticket # here.
sure I shall wait for the registrar folks to respond. thanks for the support ticket tip (wasn’t sure if Cloudflare had one) raised a ticket #2327953
I’ve added your ticket to the escalation queue.
@sdayman how did you add the ticket to the queue?
There is an escalation process that the MVPs can trigger if a customer posted here but the system should have routed them to post a ticket with Customer Support and/or in instance where the Community cannot assist. Most escalations are the former not the later; this affects 2% of topics posted.
