I have been trying to pointy domain to Hostinger. I prefer keeping the DNS management on Cloudflare so I am using CNAME records. Hostinger provided me with all of the entries that I needed to create the records. After 24 hours, when I try to go on my website on safari or chrome, the error reads too many redirects, more than 20 redirect happens and so it does not load the website. Does anyone know what should I do to fix this?
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I talked to a technical agent in Hostinger and sent screen shots of my records and they believe it needs to be fixed on Cloudflare.
You need to update the SSL certificate. There should be a guide on Hostinger’s site for how to do this depending on which of their products you are using.
OK, so just for anyone who might have the same issue: I contacted Hostinger again. I must say they are very available and patient and helpful. Turns out I cannot use Proxy feature because I am using their Website Builder service and they said for now Proxy does not work with that service because of the way IP’s are configured within Hostinger. So it must be only DNS. If one chooses to opt for their Wordpress service, then they can use the Proxy. They believe it is not a SSL certificate issue because of this detail.
