What is the issue you’re encountering

Domain is stuck in pending state

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I setup the domain on Cloudflare and then went over to AWS to set the nameservers.

Checking records with dig I can see elisa.ns.cloudflare.com and mitch.ns.cloudflare.com as active nameservers, but even after 4 days cloudflare is still showing the domain as pending.

You have added the Cloudflare nameservers as NS records in your Amazon DNS. Instead what you need to do is replace the AWS nameservers in the Amazon Registrar with the 2 Cloudflare nameservers…

Didn’t know there is a second section to set the Nameservers on AWS. Found it now. Thanks.

In case anybody finds this through google, in Route53 go to Registered Domains > select your domain > under actions choose to edit nameservers.
