Hi, I would like to have my subdomain ha.richardsvolik.cz on cloudflare, but after setting DNS with my registrar it’s still pending. DNSSEC is not supported, so I keep it disabled
Can you explain which instructions you followed to do what you did? Creating a CNAME to Cloudflare nameservers is not part of any process I know of.
Are you trying to create a partial (CNAME) setup, which requires a Business plan?
Or are you trying to create a subdomain setup, which requires an Enterprise plan?
I followed the main one on the Cloudflare website:
3. Update your nameservers
Find the list of nameservers at your registrar. Add both of your assigned Cloudflare nameservers, remove any other nameservers, and save your changes.
Did I add DNS servers to wrong field?
What I see under DNS at my registrar is the “A”, “CNAME”, “MX” and “Other” DNS records
I wanted to set just my subdomain (not the main domain) as a bridge to my home assistant smart home installation. Is that not possible with free plan?
No, that is not possible on the free plan.
