I migrated my domains to Cloudflare last year, and at that moment, I paid renew fee. One of billing period is 21 December 2018 - 05:43:21 UTC to 14 November 2020 - 03:18:01 UTC.
However, I was charged ago for this domain days ago, its billing period is 10/18/2019 - 10/18/2020. Any reason?
We’re customers, like you. You’d have to contact Billing for this:
Login to Cloudflare and then contact Cloudflare Support by clicking on the Get More Help button.

Thanks, it takes time to find that.
I have the same problem too. Fortunately I kept my 2018 invoice as proof that my next renewal supposed to be in 2020.
I opened a ticket to complain about being charged one year too early and I was shocked that a bot replied instead which its answer was totally out of point.
Is there any human in cloudflare working? I beginning to suspect that the company is now run by robots. I question whether are my domains are really safe with them…
Ideally, the bot mentioned it was a bot and to reply to reach a Cloudflare Technical Support Engineer.
Good you have the invoices as normally we only charge for one year renewal at the time of transfer, some details here, https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019910671-Transferring-and-renewing-domains-with-Cloudflare-Registrar#h_2MITXhgkClTgn5Gx5MvyVs. I’ll keep an eye out on the ticket as we’ll need one of the billing specialist to look at it and the cause. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Will anyone follow up this case? I have raised ticket on Monday, upload 2 invoices, but except a bot message no one response.
It is small money, I found this accidentally. If this is a mistake, I guess I am not only one. Is Cloudflare stealing money from their customers’ card?
