Have read through community forums and have seen some similar issues. All mentioned needing to open a cloudflare case number/ticket: 2200008
Domain [#1] is registered with bluehost, with Nameservers pointing to the correct dilbert/ashley cloudflare nameservers. These have worked fine for months and have not been changed.
I had domain [#1] connected with Kajabi. We cancelled Kajabi without disconnecting the domain. We were getting the “invalid” error by kajabi. We emailed Kajabi support and they manually disconnected the domain.
Now we want domain [#1] to forward to our new website, domain [#2] (also managed by cloudflare).
I removed all CNAME and A records, leaving only the MX records for the email accounts on domain [#1].
I added a rule for domain forwarding.
I purged the cache.
I then tried adding a CNAME record
I then tried adding an A record pointing to the IP4 address of domain [#2].
Currently, I see an error message:
This site can’t be reached server IP address could not be found.
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy, firewall, and DNS configuration
I feel like this should be a simple fix, perhaps something I’m overlooking. Any help appreciated.
