Domain always redirects to a non existent subdomain

I have a domain that, without “www” always redirects to a non existent subdomain; for example https://mydomain.com/ always redirects to https://subdomain.mydomain.com/, however https://subdomain.mydomain.com/ don’t exists, it’s a ghost subdomain.

  • I think our Cloudflare and Server settings are fine.
  • This is just happening with this domain.
  • I made a malware scan.
  • The htaccess can’t solve the problem.
  • The website under this domain is running on WordPress.

Any idea?

Check your DNS records and any page/redirect rules…
https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records
https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/rules/redirect-rules
https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/rules/rules

If you can give the domain, it will be easier to check.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

Finally I was able to find the source of the problem in the Cloudflare Dashboard, under Bulk Redirects. I really don’t know how or why it was there. By removing the rule I was able to solve the issue.
