Does Cloudflare Support still exist?

Feedback

After trying to report an issue to Cloudflare through their support portal for the last 30 minutes I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s simply no longer possible to open a ticket with them to investigate issues with the site. This was quite surprising as their Business plan pricing page still explicitly includes “Chat and Ticket” support - yet there is no way to actually create either of those things?

What is going on here - am I missing something really basic or has Cloudflare actually removed the ability to make a ticket.

Sorry for the issues you’re having.

  1. What specifically happens when you try to open a support ticket? Is there any error message? Can you share a screenshot with the error?

For what it’s worth, I have no problem opening a ticket, and other users are opening tickets and sharing their ticket numbers here every day: https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/support

  1. And what is the specific problem you need help resolving to begin with? If it’s a general technical problem and not something account or billing related, the community might be able to assist you.

Standing by.

Hi @GeorgeAppiah ,

Here’s a screenshot of the help portal where my only option is to post to the Cloudflare community.

  1. It used to be the case that there was a way to open Chat support or a ticket here - now the only option is the community. There’s no error message - there just literally is no option to open a ticket.

  2. I hope the community can help but it seems unlikely! I posted anyway (520 Errors returned sporadically from a site hosted on Vercel) but given that the error really needs access to information about the RayID it seems like Cloudflare are really the only folks likely to help efficiently.

I’d love to get confirmation that the help portal shown above is functioning as expected - it does seem a touch misleading to advertise Chat support on the business plan with no way to access it!

@alexander32 It doesn’t exist. I actually ran into a very similar issue with 502 not showing up in logs back in September and upgraded to a business plan but was not able to get any replies from chat or email, except when I asked for a refund – which they denied within a day.

You can try escalating in discord, I did have cloudflare employees reply to me there, but nobody was able to help with the issue or get a support reply.

I submitted evidence of the misleading advertising to my bank and got a chargeback done for the business plan.

Yep, it looks like Cloudflare has now fully closed their customer support center and gone down the path of Microsoft, where their customers have to beg for solutions from unpaid volunteers from public forums.
