Does cloudflare support naked domain 'https' DNS?

Hello.

I currently have my nameserver with NameCheap. My website is hosted by a 3rd party provider (weweb.io) who only supports subdomains like ‘www’. The web server has SSL support but only for subdomains like ‘www’.

I was able to get my site (storynest.ca) working for the following combinations, but NOT for https://storynest.ca. Typing my domain (storynest.ca) into a Chrome browser URL bar, automatically appends ‘https://’ in front of the domain, and this ‘naked’ domain results in a ‘server error’ page displaying in the browser (as NameCheap doesn’t support naked domain redirects). So, obviously I’m looking for a way to resolve this issue!

Hoping someone can definitively answer the following question…

My current setup supports:
http://storynest.ca/
http://www.storynest.ca/
http://storynest.ca/
http://www.storynest.ca/
https://www.storynest.ca/

But does NOT support:
https://storynest.ca

Question: If I move my nameserver to Cloudflare, does Cloudflare’s DNS service support ‘naked’ domain (‘HTTPS’) service with SSL? This document: https://community.cloudflare.com/t/redirect-example-com-to-www-example-com/78348 suggests it does, but before signing up I wanted to make sure!

Thank you for your help.

Yes. You can easily redirect https://example.com to https://www.example.com using Cloudflare.
