I can’t find and info on basic email hosting.
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
I have searched the website, but can’t see anything specific about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, Cloudflare does not offer any mailbox functionality. You need an external email service.
Email Routing is a forwarding service that can only be used to receive emails, and only in combination with an external mailbox.
