Does Cloudflare caching occurs with non-proxied DNS CNAME record?

Hi all,

Here is our situation, in a website we have, it is a cloudflare CNAME record to AWS cloudfront.
and we are looking into an issue with cached content (i.e. user from public experienced content not updated promptly).

Since the CNAME record does not enabled proxy in cloudflare DNS.
Does cloudflare caching still exist (and added another layer of caching) for the specific origin in AWS cloudfront?

Thank you.

No, since it cannot. Requests go direct to your origin and do not pass through Cloudflare.
