Does Cloudflare automatically transfer the DNS records of our domain name? We are looking to use Cloudflare externally i.e. it’s not on our hosting platform. Could someone let us know if this is the case?
Not transfer, since that would require Cloudflare to be able to read your zone file. Instead Cloudflare offers to scan several hundred common subdomains and record types in the public DNS and adds any it finds to your Cloudflare DNS only once at the time you first add the domain. This may not find all your records.

If your current DNS provider allows you to export your DNS records, you can manually import them to Cloudflare…
