Does Always use HTTPS effect the subdomain where proxied is OFF

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

Always use HTTPS for DNS only record

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

i have 2 subdomain a.example.com which is using only DNS record and other is b.example.com which is using cloudflare proxied. My question is if i use the service of Always use HTTPS does it also redirect the a.example.com along with b.example.com. Acutally a.example.com i don’t want to expose to public network and use as intranet service via host entry and don’t want https on that. Please let me know if i use Always use HTTPS service will it effect the a.example.com domain also.

As it is set to “DNS only”, then no. Requests will go directly to the origin server and not through Cloudflare.

Thanks @sjr , If i enable this service Automatic HTTPS Rewrites with Always use HTTPS then also DNS only subdomain is uneffected means i can use my intranet url with http with host entry?
