Does a SOA record prevent NS update?

I have delegated the NSs to Cloudflare from the domain registrar but was unable to remove an existing SOA record and A record for @.

I fear that this is preventing Cloudflare from being able to update the Name Servers that have already been propagated for hours, as I can verify at

probably not.

Can you share the name of the domain?

It looks like you deleted that website from your account earlier today. You can check your audit log

After you add it back, contact your domain registrar to update the nameservers to the two that get assigned and if DNSSEC is active, have them deactivate it.

oo Did you attempt to / already add that website to a different cloudflare account? I am showing clyde & alina at the moment, DNS Propagation Checker - Global DNS Testing Tool and those nameservers are not assigned in the account you are using here where you removed the website.
