Does 4 hours of browser cache expiration mean affiliate cookies will expire in 4 hours too?

Hi there! I have a blog which I plan to monetize through affiliate marketing and I’m aware that some affiliate link cookies vary from a day to 90 days.

Does setting the browser cache expiration under the caching tab to 4 hours mean affiliate cookies will expire in 4 hours too?
