I was looking for an endpoint to get all the connection information of a particular tunnel. The current endpoint to Get a Cloudflare Tunnel as mentioned in Cloudflare API v4 Documentation provides a
connections array but doesn’t provide some details like the agent architecture. I noticed that
cloudflared was still able to fetch the information. So, when I looked through the source code, I found that it was using an API call as
GET accounts/:account_identifier/cfd_tunnel/:tunnel_id/connections which was returning much more data for each tunnel.
As such, I have gone ahead and created a PR for the same in the Go SDK. It would be great if this endpoint was documented too. If this documentation is open source, I am willing to contribute the same.
This has been added at Cloudflare API v4 Documentation. Thanks a lot to the docs team!
The documentation for
accounts/:account_identifier/cfd_tunnel seems to have been lost in the migration from api.cloudflare.com to Cloudflare API Documentation.
What is the difference between
tunnels endpoint is in the API Docs under “Argo Tunnel” (Cloudflare API Documentation), it’s deprecated, they’re no longer “Argo Tunnels”, they’re just “Cloudflare Tunnels”
cfd_tunnel is the new endpoint, in the API Docs under “Cloudflare Tunnel”, which includes a few more endpoints for WARP Connectors and such:
