Do ISPs block 1.1.1.1?

Hi,

Love the free DNS.

I’m on Google fi and find that while using cellular internet 1.1.1.1 is inaccessible. However 1.0.0.1 is accessible.

Since this 1.0.0.1 is accessible it’s not really a problem. However Firefox users who set only DNS over https will be frustrated, since it uses a dotted decimal bootstrap address, which in guides typically get set to 1.1.1.1.

Or, I’ve been hacked… Seems a bit paranoid though.

Please advise as to whether you know of ISP level blocking of 1.1.1.1

Thanks,

Dan Farrell

Blocking not so much, but some ISPs hijack the address and do not route the address properly.
