Do 200 Rule & Address limits apply per domain or total ( all domains )?

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for clarification on the limits outlined in the Email Routing documentation (Limits · Cloudflare Email Routing docs). Specifically, I’m interested in the section on “Rules and addresses.”

The documentation states a limit of 200 “Rules” per domain. However, it’s unclear whether there’s also a separate limit of 200 “Addresses” per domain or if this limit applies across all domains.

Could someone from the Cloudflare team please clarify this ambiguity? Is the 200 limit for both rules and addresses combined, or are these separate limits?

“Addresses” per domain or if this limit applies across all domains.

Destination Addresses are available in all zones across your account, so is the limit.

Manage addresses for use when routing custom addresses. Destination addresses are available on all zones on the account.
You can create up to 200 destination addresses for your account.

Those are separate limits. You can have one destination address in your account, which is used 200 times in routing rules/custom addresses in one domain/zone, and 100 in another.
