It wants me to manually add the DS record even though Cloudflare is my registrar.

That doesn’t make sense. If Cloudflare is your Registrar, then Cloudflare is also your DNS. DNSSEC ties your domain registration to your DNS provider.
What’s telling you to add a DS record?

Right, your domain is registered with Cloudflare, but both the nameservers and DNSSEC are configured correctly. So there’s generally no resolution issue. If it tells you to configure a DS entry, that will be probably just the standard DNSSEC screen.
Your setup is all right and there’s nothing you need to do in this context.
