What is the issue you’re encountering

I can’t get my new domain i purchased with Cloudflare to furnish the DS record when enabling DNSSEC. I tried to enter the DS record manually does that does not work.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I tried to enter the DS record manually does that does not work. When enabling DENSSEC it has been stuck on the message " DNSSEC is pending while we wait for the DS to be added to your registrar. This usually takes ten minutes, but can take up to an hour. " I just want to connect my email host (microsoft) to my new domain at cloudflare and have already entered the required TXT and MX. But i need the DS record to be furnished by Cloudflare.

Can you help me resolve the pending status for the domain ?

Thanks for your answer, yes it isn’t registered yet, don’t i need the DNS and name servers to be furnished to record in order for it to be registered ?

I tried to submit a support ticket like you recommend but it’s not possible, i don’t think tickets are supported for my account as theres no submission button.

DS records go into the DNS servers of the zone above, the .com registry in this case. If the domain isn’t registered, there’s nowhere for them to go.

Don’t enable DNSSEC until the domain is registered and active on Cloudflare. If you are registering the domain with Cloudflare, it will be added automatically so don’t add it first to Cloudflare. Delete it if you have.

Sorry for my lack of knowldge yet, when i purchased the domain, i got an email that the domain failed to register, but the payment for 3 years went through, and the domain appeared in my Cloudflare account as inactive.

So I assumed the domain was given to me already and that there was a glitch on the payment page that was resolved.

Could this be why the domain will not register? But like i said the domain shows in my account under manage domains.

Free accounts can raise Registrar, account and billing tickets. You need to raise a registrar ticket to get your problem fixed.
