DNSSEC is staying on the pending state

What is the error message?

DNSSEC is pending while we wait for the DS to be added to your registrar. This usually takes ten minutes, but can take up to an hour.

What is the issue you’re encountering

I am trying to enable DNSSEC but it stay on pending state for over 3h already. the domain is registered in cloudflare.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

we try to enter the DS record ourself but we run into an error “Go to your registrar to add this DS record. For more details, refer to https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/additional-options/dnssec#enable-dnssec.” but we are using cloudflar as a registar

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNSSEC

Can you disable and then reenable DNSEC to see if that triggers the creation of the DS records?

we did that and it finally work at the 3 try
