I have two domains with nameservers at Cloudflare. Both are originally with OVH. One with the TLD .de and one with .top. I have set up DNSSEC for the .de domain. Now I wanted to do the same for the .top address, but it’s not working.
I have to enter the same values for the DNSSEC entry as for the DE domain. Unfortunately, this does not work and I also asked OVH why and received the following answer:
Regarding DNSSEC configuration for your domain name sascha-brockel.top, we’d like to inform you that the algorithm selected (13) is not supported by this TLD following registry’s requirements.
The supported algorithm for this TLD (.top) is RSASHA1 (5), so the issue identified when creating the DS record for your domain name is caused by not accepted parameters.
We suggest that you contact your DNS server provider to obtain the correct DS record for this domain name in order to configure it in your control panel.
How can I fix this?
