DNSSEC enabled by itself! How?

I woke up today to an unresolvable domain. Not even SOA is found.
After some checks, I noticed DNSSEC was pending signing the keys or something. I don’t remember enabling it for this domain.
There is no indication of when it was enabled. The audit logs don’t show anything related to DNSSEC, not in the past month at least. The change looks fairly new anyway since that the records were pending signing.

Once the operation was cancelled and DNSSEC got disabled, the domain’s DNS worked normally.

Is this a glitch in the system? Have you come across this issue before?
