DNSSEC and transfer to Cloudflare registrar

I have a domain setup in Cloudflare. The domain has name.com as a registrar, but with Cloudflare nameservers. DNSSEC is enabled. I want to transfer the domain to the Cloudflare registrar, I wonder if I really have to disable DNSSEC before transfer (as it says here) when I won’t be changing any nameservers?

My guess, like yours, is that it is probably not necessary because you’re already on Cloudflare nameservers… But why risk it? There’s no real harm in turning off DNSSEC for a few days. Indeed, I’d be curious to know if you have an actual need to keep it on during the transfer.

(As an aside, DNSSEC actually slows down the first request, which is why it’s not widely used.)
