We are looking to migrate away from Route 53 and I am looking for a registrar / DNS provider that will let me pre populate the DNS zone before changing Name servers.
I am trying to avoid having to change name servers and then rush to import a zone file.
You can do this with Cloudflare. If you have a large number of zones, doing this via terraform or the API would be best, but it can also be done with Cloudflare’s initial scan and a BIND file import in the UI.
