DNS Zone Pending status - suddenly inactive domain status on who.is

How to change the DNS Zone status? It seems I have everything configured, as my domains worked just fine, but at some point many of them stopped responding. Currently, my domains have the Pending status and are inactive on who.is. In Cloudflare domain dashboard, the Registrar field is also ‘unknown’. I have contacted with the Registrar support and they said it was ok on their side and said to look for an issue on the the Cloudflare side. Is it really the DNS Zone status issue or what else could it be?

I don’t know why they said that. As the WHOIS shows “inactive” for your domain it is an issue with the registar or registry. As a result, the nameservers aren’t resolving from the .nl root servers. You can only fix that through the registrar. Cloudflare can’t do this.
