DNS Zone Missing

What is the name of the domain?

What is the error number?

No error number

What is the error message?

No error message

What is the issue you’re encountering

The previously hosted DNS zone file on Cloudflare is just missing

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

None. I logged in to update a record and when I went to do so it was like Cloudflare had no history of our DNS zone. It’s prompting me to setup the domain again. DNS seems to still be functioning with the cloudflare DNS servers that I have listed at my domain registrar. How do I get access to the existing zone file?

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

n/a

The domain is currently active with Cloudflare so likely you are logged in to the wrong Cloudflare account.

Either try to locate the original account where the domain is active (log out of the dashboard and use “Forgot your email”), or when adding the domain to the account you are in, update the nameservers at the registrar to the new Cloudflare ones allocated…

That’s not it. I have logged in to this account numerous times before to make DNS edits.

The name servers haven’t changed in seven years. It’s gotta be in a different account than you’re looking at.
