Unable to add new DNS zone

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have contacted the domain provider and they gave the below response.
I must admit I’ve never seen this before. To our knowledge, there are no “holds” that would prevent Cloudflare from setting up nameservers. The only thing that springs to mind is if there is already a Cloudflare account with this domain linked.

Would you be able to reach out to cloudflare support and ask them for a bit more context?

You will need to raise a Cloudflare Account support ticket and ask for help to resolve the hold.

Unfortunately I cant do that on the free plan. Hence why im here.

Free plan users can create account, billing and registrar tickets.

Zone Hold is an Enterprise feature:

If the domain you’re trying to add is subject to a hold, you’ll need to ask the service provider that has your domain active in their Cloudflare account to release it.
You can share the documentation with them.
