DNS Zone File import

Hello,

When I create a new CNAME and A records, do I have to include the domain name?

I notice when Cloudflare does the initial scan it pulls DNS records without the root domain.

I’ve been provided with the BIND Zone File and when I importing all the records it pulls the the domain name.

Which is the right way?

The zone file you see is the proper format. Cloudflare doesn’t display the full domain in the dashboard for a subdomain entry, but you’ll see in an exported zone file that it’s really there.
