DNS with specific port?

Im going through a host that allows me to ‘split’ my server into different ports to use for different things. Like a game server and web server.

I’m not entirely sure how I set up DNS to point to that specific port. I’ve tried a few things with no luck.

Thank you in advanced

DNS doesn’t include ports, unless you’re using SRV records. In any case, Cloudflare DNS follows the same rules as any other proper DNS provider.

Keep in mind that Cloudflare only proxies websites over a typical set of ports. If you want to proxy a game server, you will need a special setup for that server, including a separate Proxy record.

Ahh yes I already have the gameserver set up to a subdomain, i was able to do that flawlessly lol.

I’ll contact my host about the webserver and see how I’m suppose to go about it, they do have some kind of reverse proxy thing i’m not sure if that has anything to do with it.

But thank you for the reply!
