I’m trying to change my ip-address for the A records, but I keep getting following error
“DNS Validation Error (Code: 1004): Invalid proxied mode. Record cannot be proxied (Code: 9041)”
What might be the problem?
Sound like you may be trying to 
a record which is in a private IP address space. If you have 192.168 or 10.10 record those aren’t internet routable so you’d want to make those records 
(click the orange and make it gray) so that it is accessed directly rather than trying to route through Cloudflare.

cscharff i did gray still it is showing the same error

I even deleted a previous A record, then tried to put it again and got this error, so uhm, any clues?
Uhh, guys… I was trying to paste in an IP address with a leading space… i.e.
" xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"
Deleting the space fixed it.
Cloudflare should sanitize this input and improve the UX please. Thanks very much.
