DNS to locale IP not working

Hi,

I want a subdomain (cloud.domain.dev) to point to the internal IP 192.168.178.103 in my network, so I created this A Type Record:

According to what I have read online this should work perfectly fine, but when I try to open the subdomain I will always get this error in Firefox:
We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server cloud.domain.dev

I already created an SSL certificate using LetsEncrypt with the Cloudflare DNS Plugin if this should be needed.

Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

The address you mentioned is not what you configured in your screenshot.

But what you described will generally work and if you verified the DNS resolution, it may be a server issue.

What’s the domain?

Yeah sorry I mean 192.168.178.82.
The domain is köjer.dev

The entry is in place, however it’s configured for .103

I tried it with a different internal ip but it also did not work.
It is now on .82 again

Yes, it does resolve the correct address now. I am afraid this will be a local issue. Verify you resolve the correct address and that your server is up. On Cloudflare’s side it is working.

Okay thank you for verifying.
But I dont understand what the problem could be.
I can navigate to .82 from my locale network without any issues…

Afraid, that’s something you need to verify locally. You can also post a question on a network related StackExchange forum if you need further assistance here.
