The instructions say to add an A or CNAME record, but our IP addresses are dynamic, so there’s no way to point those records. We are sennahousebuyers.com. Anyone have an idea?
You can use a local script to update the A-record, or CNAME to an external dynamic DNS service, or finally, consider using an Argo Tunnel (so your server contacts Cloudflare to maintain the tunnel).
Thanks for the reply. A little over my head. The weird part is it was working until yesterday and then stopped. Maybe we need to purchase static IP addresses from Cloudflare.
Cloudflare does not offer static IP addresses to use in your DNS records here. Those come from your ISP or host. @thedaveCA’s suggestions are the way to work around dynamic IP addresses. There are services that do this:
