DNS setup for AWS Elastic Beanstalk

Hi

Presently my site is running on single AWS EC2 instance which has an Elastic IP, and added the elastic ip as A record in the dns of cloudfare and is working fine.

Now I moved my site to AWS Elastic Beanstalk and it given me a URL like xxxxx.us-east-1.elasticbeanstalk.com, so when I am adding this URL instead of IP for A record it is giving error to enter valid IP, but for AWS Elastic Beanstalk does not have a IP just a URL.

Can you please guide us what should be done?

Regards
Ritasice

You should remove the existing A record, then add a new CNAME record with the same “name” but now with that environment URL as the target.
