DNS settings not updating (tried changing SSL settings)

What is the name of the domain?

www.cutoutsonline.com

What is the error message?

Too many redirects

What is the issue you’re encountering

I changed the DNS settings for the website by adding a CNAME (have confirmed several times that the information is correct). Have checked throughout this time on dns propagation tester and it fails every time. When I tried to change SSL settings to strict from flexible (as the internet said may be the issue) I started getting another error about handshake failure. Any help would be really appreciated!

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Tried to change SSL settings from flexible to strict - this gave me another error message about failed handshake

Checked to make sure the host information was inputted correctly

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS not responding/updating

May I ask if your Website is working fine over HTTPS when your DNS record is unproxied and set to :grey: (DNS-only)?

Tried to do this and still getting the same error message about redirects

Not really, seems to be fine over HTTPS and www for me, no cache, Incognito Mode, and now unproxied :grey: :

If you switch back to proxied :orange: and make SSL/TLS to Full (Strict), can you reply back so I could double-check again?

You shouldn’t be using Flexible at all, since it’ll interfere and cause issues such as redirections you’re experiencing, while having valid SSL certificate and Website working fine over HTTPS.

Oh, that’s great news that it is working for you!

Just changed those settings - let me know what you get. Thanks for your help.

Works fine now over proxied :orange: Cloudflare:, Firefox and Chrome tested few moments ago:

Looks like SSL settings was the main cause, possibly the cache & data in your Web browser as well caused such headache for you

Otherwise, I cannot test on iPhone, Mac and Safari Web browser - I don’t have such devices to perform those test. Could you confirm it’s working for you?

Yes, can confirm that it’s working on these devices! I think the thing that did it was the proxy setting as I had tried changing the SSL several times to strict (full) before with no luck. Thanks for your help here! Much appreciated.
