DNS resolving fails with CloudFlare, works with Google and others

Here is an example of the domain that resolves just fine with Google and other DNS servers I’ve tried, but not with CloudFlare:

~> dig @1.1.1.1 +nocomments +search +nocmd +nostats Nfr A
;www.inami.gob.mx. IN	A
~> dig @8.8.8.8 +nocomments +search +nocmd +nostats www.inami.gob.mx A
;www.inami.gob.mx. IN	A
www.inami.gob.mx.	21134	IN	CNAME	inami.gob.mx.
inami.gob.mx. 21134	IN	A	187.141.12.170

Thanks, I’ll take a look. Just to confirm - the domain name you have trouble with is www.inami.gob.mx and not Nfr right?

It seems like the nameservers for inami.gob.mx are not reachable from some of our PoPs, we’ll try to reach out to the zone owner to see if it’s a firewall configuration issue.

Yes, domain name is www.inami.gob.mx, there are a few others .mx that I’ve seen in the past that had similar issues. Other domains don’t have such issues.
