DNS Records have been changed but don't know who or why

I have been receiving notices from Sucuri that our AAAA records and A records have changed. We haven’t changed them and the site is still working fine. Does anyone know if Cloudflare would be doing this??

Last notice says:

DNS Modified
DNS changes detected for socialdocumentary dot net

New Values:
A 172.64.80.1

Old Values:
A 172.67.210.166
104.21.59.3

These are the proxy addresses and Cloudflare does change them irregularly. That’s just fine.

You rather have two other issues, your whole site is insecure as you do not have a valid certificate on your server and an insecure encryption mode, as well as another configuration issue which should be also addressed.

I would pause Cloudflare for now - Pause Cloudflare · Cloudflare Fundamentals docs - and talk to your host to get the site properly set up. Once it loads fine on HTTPS, you can unpause Cloudflare again.

Hi Sandro. Thank you for this information.
The browser indicates that the site is secure. Why do you believe that we do not have a valid certificate, and an insecure encryption mode. It would be helpful to know so that I can discuss with developers.

Glenn

Can you check your encryption mode on Cloudflare? That should be Full Strict.
