DNS records getting removed automatically

Hi,

One of our DNS records is getting removed frequently. The record was not removed from our end and we had to re-add the record every time.

May I know can anyone advise on how to prevent the issue faced or can we get any log related to the same.

We are using a Plesk server and the website is using WordPress.

You’d have to check Audit Log at the top of dash.cloudflare.com

What you’re seeing is frequently caused to an outside system using your API key and modifying your DNS records. If that’s the case, then you can reset your Global API Key, and then consider doing the same for any API Tokens you may have.

As you have mentioned we can either create a new token or Roll our secret key into a new one
May I know will that cause any issues for the domain DNS on our end.
Or How the same will get affected.

Depending on why you’ve set up external DNS control, nobody will know. But since it sounds like you’re in control of your DNS on your Plesk server, you’ll probably be OK.
