DNS records are not updating

Hi,

We have added include:amazonses.com to our spf TXT record but don’t see that the record is being updated.
So we did a test and created a new A record. It also have not been updated.

Also we have a message of “Cloudflare protection for your domain is in a pending state while we verify ownership”, which might be related.

Any idea why our records are not updated and what we can do to resolve it?
