I changed hosting from IONOS.com to Hostgator.com . However cloudlfare still pointing to old hosting especially MX record and i am unable to receive and send emails. i deleted website and recreated but Cloudflare is repicking up the same old hosting MX record details. I am stuck what to do.
You would need to manually change the MX record to the one required by the new email provider, they should be able to tell you what that is.
there are some other entries too pointing to old hosting what are those too?
also is there any way i can delete memory of cloudlfare so that i can add completely fresh
Cloudflare will not re-scan a different set of nameservers for you, no.
If your host lets you export the records then you can import them to Cloudflare whch might be the easiest way:
unfortunately i am not IT guy. so i might have to drop cloduflare. please is there way i can request cloudlfare to remove old record
You can delete the old records yourself in the dashboard if that’s what you want to do but I would recommend keeping a note of them in case it breaks something and you need to add them back.
